Solid-state crystal-crystal transformations frequently occur in crystalline polymers, spontaneously1 or under specific treatments, for example, mechanical stretching. Crystal-crystal transformations accompany changes in the molecular structure such as conformation, packing, or both. These structural changes require internal rotations around chemical bonds, lateral displacements,
translations, and rotations of the polymer chains in the restricted space. It is often expected that molecular dynamics plays an important role for the crystal-crystal transformation. It has been proven that such dynamical processes are directly related to mechanical properties, drawability of polymer materials, and the crystallization process. We will investigate such process with dynamic Solid-State NMR.
