Crystallization of polymer chains under anisotropic confinement in liquid crystals

Project B16 of the SFB TRR102. The project aim is the investigation of the possible crystallisation of polymer chains under soft confinement in anisotropic medium. The project started with the characterisation of the structure and dynamics of long alkane molecules in lipid membranes using NMR spectroscopy and MD simulations. The ultimate goal is to observe and characterise the crystallisation of polymer chains under similar conditions.
