Allocation of Powers between Actors in PRC International Commercial and Investment Arbitration

This research project evaluates the allocation of powers among different actors under the domestic Chinese Laws and the international treaties on international commercial and investment arbitration. The special structure of allocation of powers in the domestic rules will be probed. The differences in the international treaties China participates in will be analyzed. A dynamic picture of the interplay between the domestic and international settings will be presented as well as an outlook for the future of Chinese international commercial and investment arbitration.
