Statistically, every second person worldwide will have experienced a mental disorder at least once by age 75. Therapy alone cannot solve this problem. My research investigates prevention: What keeps healthy people healthy? Using population-based studies and advanced statistical methods, I examine subclinical and transdiagnostic symptoms, risk and resilience factors, and healthy life years lost. As one prevention pathway, I evaluate the effectiveness and acceptability of digital interventions through randomized controlled trials and evidence syntheses. The overarching goal: to develop prevention approaches grounded in robust evidence that benefit many people with small gains, creating a cumulative impact at the population level.Profil
