TU Nexus: Integrating water balance and energy system models for improved benefit sharing in transboundary river basins

The project aims to improve tools and knowledgebase for a CLEW analysis that better outline trade-offs, opportunities, conflicts and synergies across the systems. The project builds on Finnish research excellence in water and energy research at UOULU and VTT as well as collaboration with international partners and the focus region.
