Privatization of Public Services under the WTO GATS: Approaches for Seeking Coherence between Human Rights, Trade and Macroeconomic Policy

This research work intends to further explore a conflict of norms approach on how WTO Law relates to Human Rights Law. In particular, the potential for a coherent reconciliation of existing tensions between the normative framework stemming from the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the GATS will be examined.
