Titel: Education towards circular and sustainable Economy - ET CASE
Beschreibung: The central theme of this project is the education for circular economy (CE) for sustainable consumption. CE remains a key concern in fight against climate change, thus this project directly covers the horizontal priority of this call (Environment and fight against climate change). EC in the pursuit of Fit for 55 package within the European Green Deal policy places CE as one of its facets, and outlines the related pro-environmental activities (e.g. reusing, recycling, redesigning and preserving natural resources). In the EC “Circular Economy Action Plan” (CEAP), the listed objectives clearly address the awareness of the consumers, by calling on actions that empower consumers, ensure less waste, make circularity work for people. Guided by these objectives, we design activities of education towards making the MLTs generation more sustainable consumers, as in the implementation of the CEAP the EC stated that “transition towards a more circular economy requires an active engagement of citizens in changing consumption patterns”.
