The drying kinetics of porous materials is influenced by the liquid-gas interfaces (menisci) developed and displaced in the course of drying. This project seeks to incorporate the liquid-gas interfacial area into continuum models of drying by combination of state of the art of pore network modeling, pore network simulations, and new experiments.
