Main scientific objectives of the project are:
• Coupling script-controlled Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and efficient optimization code for a turbine design harvesting wave energy system;
• Finding optimal solution and design of the turbine through CFD analysis;
• Design, fabricate, and test the optimized turbine in a real time environment;
• Design and implement a suitable control algorithm to be coupled to the turbine during the tests in order to extract maximum power to supply continuous power without any disturbance.
