The development of novel devices for improved and energy efficient electronics is a central quest. Spin selectivity (CISS) uses molecules with symmetries containing different types of chirality, like centro-chirality, axial chirality and helical chirality to select electron spins. We design achiral polymer-helices as transducer of different types of chirality to induce a CISS effect over ~ 6 nm, linked to a centrochiral molecule distant to the surface, transmitting the CISS only via the so induced helical chirality. We address to quantify the relation between the length of the chiral transducer and the measured CISS effect. We further study the impact of the nature of the centrochiral molecule on head of the helical chain and its impact on the measured CISS to reveal cooperativity phenomena of the CISS.
