This project investigates how family relationships and structures vary across different cultural and national contexts. By examining social roles and intergenerational relationships within the family support systems, it aims to unravel similarities and differences in family cohesion across different country contexts. The study employs a quantitative analytical strategyto explore the impact of cultural, economic, and policy factors on parents, children and their social relationships. Through this comparative analysis, the project aims to highlight the evolving nature of family ties in a globalized world.
