Mobilität älterer Menschen im Stadtquartier (Mobile-S)

The Mobile-S project uses sensors to record obstacles to mobility such as road damage, construction sites, seating or accessible toilets and uses this data to develop a senior-friendly navigation aid. At the same time, the data is used for urban and neighborhood development in order to remove barriers. The team combines findings from care science, geriatrics, technology (sensors, AI) and planning to support people with limited mobility, urban planners and neighborhood managers.
