We aim to invetsigate the compatibility between blood circulating human immune cells (including neutrophils) and coated and uncoated forms of BNCs.
We therefore would like to address the following objectives concerning evaluation of interactions between immune cells, including neutrophils, and coated, including heparin, and uncoated BNCs in terms of:

We therefore would like to address the following objectives concerning evaluation of interactions between immune cells, including neutrophils, and coated, including heparin, and uncoated BNCs in terms of:
- immune cells activation, production of granzymes,
- secretion of array of cytokines and chemokines,
- generation of reactive oxygen species, and extracellular trap formations
- activation of death associated pathways, including Fas-mediated and/or TNF-α-mediated pathways and subsequent activation of caspase-3 and associated molecules
