Highly frustrated magnets have been attracted much attention over the last years. They offer novel quantum ground states like valence bond solids, spin liquids and plateau states. Their low-temperature thermodynamics may exhibit interesting features like an extra maximum in the specific heat. We study these systems by means of exact diagonalization, spin.-wave theory, coupled cluster method and the rotational invariant Greens function method.
