The European Topic Centre on Climate change impacs, vulnerability and adaption 2014-2018

In the European context, the mission of the ETC/CCA Consortium will be to fulfil the key tasks as outlined in the call for proposals supporting the EEA and the implementation of the EEA’s strategy. The Consortium will be a part of, and support, the European environment information and observation network (Eionet), and will contribute to the :
• harmonisation, quality and exchange of data concerning climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation (CCIVA) and the risk disasters
• improvement of tools and contents, such as sectoral policies and case studies, of the Climate-ADAPT platform;
• development of indicators;
• mapping, analyses, evaluations and assessments supporting policy development, as well as capacity building.
